Adding an authorised contact to your account

Before we can add someone else as an authorised contact on your account, we’ll need to confirm your identity. You can contact us by phone or email using the email address registered to your account. Please provide your full name, address and the email address registered to the account.

What can an authorised contact do?

An authorised contact can:

  • Discuss technical issues and agree any non-chargeable action needed to resolve a fault.
  • Arrange engineer visits where no charge applies.
  • Discuss general account or service enquiries, including network issues.
  • Update their own contact details.

What can’t an authorised contact do?

To protect the account holder’s personal and financial information, an authorised contact can’t:

  • Access personal or confidential information about the account holder.
  • Change the broadband package or request any change that would add a charge to the account.
  • Book a chargeable engineer visit.
  • Request invoices or information about payment amounts.
  • Change billing dates or update Direct Debit details.

The account holder will need to contact us directly if any of these changes are needed.
