How do I connect a Bluetooth accessory or remote?

Connecting a Bluetooth speaker, headphones, or a new remote control to your Zzoomm Puck is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to get your Bluetooth device paired and ready to use.

Getting your device ready

Before you begin, you must ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode. This is a crucial step that allows your Zzoomm Puck to discover it.

For headphones and speakers, this usually involves pressing and holding the power button or a specific Bluetooth button until a light begins to flash.

For a new remote, check the instructions provided with the device for its pairing method.

If pairing the remote again, please make sure to:

Forget it via Settings > System Settings > Remotes and accessories > select the Zzoomm remote from the list and select the forget option.
Once complete, make sure to have the Zzoomm remote in pairing mode by pressing and holding the Home and back keys together at the same time for up to 10 seconds.
Then, select + Pair accessory option on your screen and select the remote from the list to pair it.

Connecting via your Zzoomm Puck

Press the gear icon on your remote to load the System Settings.
Next, navigate to and select Remotes and accessories.
To begin searching for your Bluetooth device, select Add accessory.
Your Zzoomm Puck will now begin scanning for all nearby Bluetooth devices that are in pairing mode.
When your Bluetooth device's name appears on the list, highlight it and press OK on your remote to complete the pairing process.

Once paired, your Bluetooth device is ready for use. You can now:
